For today: Thursday April 7, 2011
Outside my window... it's partly cloudy with a bright sun and 59 degrees.
I am thinking... that I like moving.. so far... provided we have not found anyone who wants to buy our house or have we found a house we would like to buy (it's only officially been 1 week tho)... but I really like this type of cleaning, organizing and packing! I may change my mind about moving later... but for now I'm a fan. And that it's hard to believe Lydia is 19 months old today!!
I'm creating... more painting ideas in my head... and a plan to possibly to get a membership to somewhere with a pool so I can swim again.
I'm going... to get another brother-in-law... my sister (who's birthday is TODAY!) got engaged on Tuesday!!!!!!!!
I am thankful... for this real Spring weather (as opposed to the winterly-snowly-Spring weather we had last week) And for our new van -which feels like I'm driving a car again!!! (Janet says that's because the other van was a truck-van! So high!) And for my BIL and is wife letting us stay with them for the weekend! And for the little Cubbies in my AWANA group!
From the kitchen... I can faintly smell the crockpot cooking our dinner.
I am hoping (and praying)... someone will be interested in buying our house soon.
I am reading... Twelve Extraordinary Women and listening to the rest of Little Women via audiobook (while I clean and pack in the evenings) I started reading it in December but didn't get around to finishing it... I don't know why I waited... such a good story!!
I am hearing... Aaron quietly talking to himself during his quiet rest time. I let him read and sometimes play quietly in bed. But EVERY day he reads this book. every. day. I even found another one of Scarry's books but he hardly ever looks at it... just the purple one.
Around the house... things are clean and orderly! Ahhh! feels good!
One of my favorite things... finding a time when a friend and I can get together for a visit... those times are often few and far between but that makes them even more fun to look forward to! I know this is just a season.
A few plans for the rest of the week... A family trip to the Children's Museum, a Young Living Essential Oils class and a birthday party for my newly-engaged sister!
A few photos for sharing...
Fun pics, Sarah ~ Is that a Puffalump dolly?? =) (or maybe they are extinct by now?)
ReplyDeleteMiriam is sitting on my lap and says "HI BABY" to Lydia!! :)
